1. Who you are contracting with

These terms are an agreement between you and Bryan Martin ("WireGenie", "we", "us"), the operator of WireGenie at getwiregenie.com.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. The service

WireGenie is a planning and estimating tool that generates electrical layouts, breaker panel diagrams, load calculations, and parts lists based on user-provided floor plan inputs. Output is a planning aid only and is not a substitute for a licensed electrician or local AHJ approval. Always verify designs before purchase or installation.

4. Acceptable use

You must not: (a) use the service unlawfully; (b) submit fraudulent or spam content; (c) infringe intellectual property rights; (d) attempt to interfere with or compromise the security of the service (including malware, probing, scraping, or reverse engineering); or (e) resell or redistribute the service without permission.

5. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

6. Intellectual property

WireGenie and all related software, branding, and documentation remain our property. You retain ownership of plans you create using the service. We are granted a limited license to host and process your content solely to provide the service.

7. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller (see Section 8). For details, see Paddle's Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy.

8. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

9. Service level

We work hard to keep WireGenie running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Liability

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to fees you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits or data. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where prohibited by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your content, unlawful use of the service, or breach of these terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the seller resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
